Faith in action · Ellis County, Texas
Bloodz of Christ Inc.—known throughout our community as B.O.C.—is a youth ministry and church creating purpose, mentorship and opportunity through faith, outreach and the game of basketball.
01 / Our mission
We believe ministry happens in churches, gyms, neighborhoods and every place a young person needs encouragement. B.O.C. connects faith with consistent mentorship and real opportunities to grow.
Our work centers on youth mentoring, prayer and ministry outreach, community events, and the 287 Express basketball program.
“Train up a child in the way he should go.” Proverbs 22:6
02 / Our youth basketball ministry
287 Express is the youth basketball program under the B.O.C. ministry umbrella. For 10 years, we have used the game to help get kids off the streets, surround them with mentorship, and take young people beyond the places they thought possible.
Our youth have traveled around the world—competing, building confidence, experiencing new cultures and carrying the values of discipline, teamwork and faith wherever they go.

From the early days to packed gyms, medals, road trips and community outings, every season tells the same story: young people finding a team, trusted mentors and a bigger view of what is possible.

04 / What we do
Consistent guidance, accountability and encouragement that helps young people build character and make strong choices.
Faith-centered outreach that gives youth and families a place for prayer, spiritual growth and belonging.
Structured competition, travel and teamwork designed to keep youth active, connected and focused on a bigger future.
Gatherings that strengthen relationships, bring families together and create positive spaces across Ellis County.
05 / Beyond the court
Our young people built a recording studio themselves—and used it to create an entire album. Artist Jaycee Ijah has released music on Apple Music, including collaborations such as “Awesome God” and “That’s What I Like,” while his videos have reached audiences on Facebook.
This is what opportunity can look like: youth learning to build, record, write, perform and turn their own ideas into finished work.

06 / Fuel the next journey
Our first online campaign has a clear goal: raise $10,000 by March 1, 2027 to support the next travel season and keep life-changing experiences within reach for our youth.
Bloodz of Christ Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
